ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Gary

WHERE I COME FROM
Gary Budoor’s longstanding dedication to community service began over nine years ago, when he became actively involved with the American Cricket Academy and Club. In this capacity, he organizes and leads initiatives that address a wide range of needs—from providing groceries and sandwiches to local food pantries every week since March 2020, to coordinating volunteer programs addressing education, homelessness, and PPE distribution for frontline workers. This commitment to service has culminated in over 125,000 volunteer hours contributed by Gary and his team during this period. His impactful contributions have earned him various accolades, including the George H.W. Bush Points of Light Award in 2020 and the President’s Volunteer Service Award consecutively from 2017 to 2023. Recognizing his leadership in these efforts, Governor Mike Parson appointed Gary as a Commissioner for the Missouri Community Service Commission in March 2021. Outside of his volunteer efforts, Gary values time with his wife Sowjanya and their two sons, Kausthubh and Rutvick, who all share his enthusiasm for serving the community.
A THRIVING CAREER
Gary has served as the IT Manager at TKC Holdings (formerly Centric Group) since April 2012, overseeing essential technology operations. In addition to this role, Gary extends his passion for civic engagement to the public sphere—he was elected to the City Council on April 6, 2021, running unopposed in the April 4, 2023 election, reflecting his community’s trust in his leadership. Married to Sowjanya and father to two sons, Kausthubh and Rutvick, Gary remains devoted to both his career and his family, consistently exemplifying the power of service-driven success.
